Photography VS Swimming
Erm.. Today is a Sunday, so i went to TM myself to buy some presents. in e end, i bought $20+ of chocolate ok? U guys will receive them pretty soon if ur bday is coming. Si ying, i dunnoe wat to buy u. So wil give u choco first and smth else later. i spent $36.30 today. Lolx.. That's a lot.
Anyway, also went to photography society today. They were talking so adult-ly. Oviosly, not RAed. But they were talking abt how realistic e commercial world is. About all e pricing, pix taken, type of displayment etc. That's not veri suitable for me.
I think i find out smth. A guy came and gave a speech on e defn of photography and ask where we are now. The reason why we take photo when there's tri-llion of photos. Why we go for a thousand plus camera when a $400+ camera allows a journalist to publish his work.
This set me thinking. How impt Photography is to me. A hobby, a game, an interest, or perhaps a destiny. U might go, "WTH is she talking abt? wanna take pix then take la." No, it's not that simple. I suddenly realised i just stepped into photography. Too young to give critics. Too lousy to display my work. That's sad. Swimming seemed a easier choice for me. It gave me a stronger feeling. Not knowing where i stand in photography seemed much smaller than not being able to swim a few laps of good breaststroke. I can say i will prefer to go and have a swim then to tke my camera out jus to shoot.
Shit la, i suddenly lost e determination to get a camera. I felt that i dun worth it. Then now, my parents were like trying to get me one asap after my sis's sch adminstration. Dunno.. Yea, let's wait and see ok? =)
